As our Platform Growth Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our presence on KURSNET and mein NOW — Germany's most important Federal Employment Agency (BA) education platforms. Your mission is to ensure our courses are perfectly positioned to reach learners actively searching for the right path into tech. As you grow into the role, there is scope to get involved in broader organic growth channels.

Your Responsibilities

Portal Management – KURSNET & mein NOW (Core Focus)

• Platform Ownership: Become the in-house expert on the logic and algorithms of KURSNET and mein NOW, taking full end-to-end ownership of WBS CODING SCHOOL's presence on both platforms — managing technical accuracy, keyword richness, and listing performance.
• Listing Optimisation: Continuously refine course descriptions, metadata, and categorisation within both portals to maximise visibility and conversion into qualified leads.
• Keyword Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research to identify and map high-intent search terms directly to our course listings, ensuring we reach learners at the right moment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track, analyse, and report on listing performance across both platforms, using data to inform ongoing optimisation decisions.
• Multi-Portal Expansion: Scale our reach by managing and growing our presence on additional platforms including WIS (IHK), Kursfinder, and the regional portals of all federal states.
• Edtelligent Management: Utilise Edtelligent to efficiently manage and synchronise listings across regional portals, ensuring a consistent, optimised brand presence nationwide.

 

Content & Collaboration

• Content Collaboration: Work with the content and marketing teams to ensure all course copy and portal listings are accurate, and keyword-rich.
• AI Tooling: Leverage AI-powered tools where relevant to streamline keyword research, listing audits, and content refinement.
• Cross-team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to align portal strategy with broader campaign activity and course launches.

YOUR SKILLS

Experience & Technical Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in portal management, digital marketing, or a data-driven marketing role.
• Experience with KURSNET and/or mein NOW is not required but a strong advantage; familiarity with Edtelligent is a bonus.
• Native-level German — essential for managing German portal backends and understanding nuanced search intent.
• C1 English (written and spoken) — essential for collaboration with our international team.
• Comfortable with data: you're confident working with performance data and using it to drive decisions.
